What is in My Bag
Black and white film in the darkroom was Alyse’s first exposure to photography. When it came time to making decisions about college, she knew she could only see herself as a creative and making images. She continued on to earn her BFA at Kent State University studying photography in the VCD program. While at Kent State, she published her own magazine, Lady Lover, a platform for all female identifying LGBTQ folks. Her work is inspired by the intricacies of human connection, everyday occurrences, and the human form.
